Abstract

Nowadays, the qualifications of the municipal law of Ukraine have not found their proper, full-value reflection in the legal science. The subject and method of legal regulation of municipal law, its role and social purpose, and municipal responsibility require grounded attention. However, the most interesting among the qualifying attributes of the field of municipal law of Ukraine are exactly the methods of legal regulation. The methods of legal regulation of the municipal law of Ukraine establish ways of influencing this branch of social relations, ensure the effectiveness of its norms, their daily practical implementation. At the same time, the relevance of the study of the legal regulation of the municipal law of Ukraine is due to the diversity of scientific opinions regarding the understanding of their essence, the identification of certain types. It seems that the level of scientific and theoretical research of this problem will have a direct consequence – increasing the effectiveness of the municipal law of Ukraine as a separate, independent branch of law. Accordingly, it will definitely contribute to the further dynamic development of an independent, democratic, legal, European Ukrainian state. As it is known, integral parts of a developed state are: strong regions, capable territorial communities, strong legal, material and financial basis of local self-government. On the basis of the systematic analysis it is expedient to formulate the conclusion that the method of municipal law of Ukraine is, enshrined in the norms of the municipal law of Ukraine, system of legal means regulating and protecting social relations that belong to the subject of this branch of law. The basic methods of municipal law of Ukraine are imperative and dispositive.
