Origins of Ukrainian Philosophy of Law «Silver Age» (the last third of XIX – the first third of XX century)

Abstract
The article gives a brief description of «Silver Age» philosophy and philosophy of law in Russia and Ukraine, showing the influence of Ukrainian «factor» on the origin and development of philosophy and philosophy of law of this period. The author states that this religious-philosophical doctrine originates from the Ukrainian philosopher Heorhii Skoroda and as are lay was passed through Pamfil Yurkevych to Volodymyr Soloviov, who actually laid the foundations of this philosophy. Many thinkers, philosophers and lawyers of «Silver Age» either were relatives (line stretched from Heorhii Skovoroda) or were born and studied in Ukraine, or were teachers in educational establishments of Kyiv, Kharkiv and other cities. It appears that given features of the philosophy of «Silver Age» are largely associated with the specifics of Ukrainian mentality and religious outlook.Downloads
